Our organization thrives when we fulfill our purpose.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and ambitious self-starter as our Associate Director of Digital Marketing; someone with drive and a desire to solve real world problems in the mortgage industry with unique solutions, who loves what they do and wants to make an impact. In this role, you would help our customers achieve their dreams of home ownership by planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives through digital channels. This position is based in our state-of-the-art Chicago headquarters in Logan Square and will be a hybrid of 2-3 days in-office and remote.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Growth and Engagement

Growing our brand presence across North America
Develop external marketing strategy, including content (blog),  Search Engine Optimization “SEO”,  social media engagement, Search Engine Marketing “SEM”, events and podcasts
Oversee the development of campaign creatives, including static, video, and copy assets
Build key relationships with Public relations and content partners
Oversee real estate market and mortgage industry research in support of broader digital marketing strategy by providing both a better understanding of home buyer market dynamics and helping qualify more opportunities to help Loan officers connect with home-buyers
Demand Generation

Develop content including but not limited to presentations, data sheets, demos, webinars, social media, newsletters and other assets to drive prospects through the marketing funnel
Deeply understand our customers and their journeys
Craft messaging across the organization and  actively use data to steer the messaging and marketing materials you generate
Scale existing channels while bringing in new platforms and tools as needed

Lead Conversion

Drive performance for paid acquisition campaigns across search, social, display, and video
Analyze campaign results, report on key metrics, and apply learnings to improve performance
Optimize paid ad targeting, landing pages, and web features
Working with the team

Collaborate effectively with Chief Marketing Officer, Sales and Sr. Executive Leadership to execute vision for the company’s overall digital strategy
Present marketing metrics and customer research to Leadership

You have a strong familiarity building marketing strategy for companies in the financial industry, mortgage lenders, etc.
Full-stack, full-funnel marketer with a range of experiences across brand marketing, product marketing, and SEO/SEM growth marketing/demand generation
You’re scrappy and thrive in situations that require problem solving and thinking outside the box
You can work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple personality types in a calm and professional manner
You’ve got excellent written and verbal communication skills
You love to leverage social as a way to drive brand engagement and conversion
You’ve got the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Uncertainty doesn’t scare you, you thrive in it

What we would like to see in terms of background:

Minimum bachelor’s in Marketing, Digital Marketing Communication, or Business Administration, or similar
7+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or communications required
3+ years leading projects and teams required
3+ years of recent experience in digital marketing for Bank or financial institution strongly preferred
Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
Experience leveraging data and analytics and customer insights to devise customer experiences that drive acquisition, engagement, preference, and loyalty, resulting in long term customer engagement
Proven track record building and deploying best in class digital solutions both from a demand generation and experience perspective
Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM, Social Media, and CRM ; implementing and optimizing campaigns
Solid knowledge of web analytics tools, specifically hands on experience with utilizing CRM software, dashboarding software and sales engagement tools
